 The Office of Sorority and Fraternity Affairs is currently soliciting pictures for this year's edition of the Guide to Florida Greeks.  Please submit photos from chapter events, philanthropies, service projects, Dance Marathon, Bid Day, Stepshow, etc. 

Please be sure that pictures:
*Do Not contain cups or inappropriate material.
*Are taken with a 3.2 megapixel digital camera

*Are submitted to Floridagreekphotos@gmail.com NO LATER than Friday, March 2

Scholarship Training (FGS)
Scholarship training is tomorrow, Thursday, February 22, 2007.  The time has been CHANGED to 6:00 PM.  It is in room 361-363 of the JWRU.

Order of Omega Presents: Greek Week 2007

Order of Omega's 2007 Greek Week is just around the corner.  The last delegate meeting is Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 6:00 PM in the Reitz Union room 279.
The t-shirt application has been extended, however the remaining shirts are being sold on a first come first serve basis.  If you are interested please have your money and sign up form to the OSFA by Friday, February 23.
We hope to see you all at Turlington Plaza next Wednesday afternoon for the Kickoff event!

The second annual All Greek Service Day is just around the corner.  The information for the service sites will soon be up on the Florida Greek web page.  All service chairs and directors will be notified when the information is available.

Pi Delta Psi Scholarship
Pi Delta Psi Fraternity Inc. was founded on the principles of promoting Asian American Awareness across campus.  This month, Pi Delta Psi is hosting its first annual essay contest.  The essay prompt: Why do we need an Asian American Institute?  First place prize is $200.  The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, February 28, 2007.

Women's Leader of the Year Award
The 2007 Woman Leader of the Year Award, sponsored by the Women's Leadership Council, recognizes undergraduate women who have made the University of Florida campus, and the surrounding Gainesville community, a more positive and supportive environment through service to the public via volunteer programs, student organizations, etc.

2007 Woman Leader of the Year Award

At Norman Field on Sunday, the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity held a field day to remember Thomas O. Brown, who was beaten to death after the UF-University of Georgia football game in 2005.  The event raised $700 for a scholarship in Brown's name.

Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity collected supplies such as dog food, cat litter, cleaning materials and toys Saturday to donate to the Alachua County Humane Society.

Phi Mu Sorority hosted their third annual Home Run Derby at the Southwest Recreation Center softball fields and raised $1,000 for the Shands Children's hospital.  More than 300 people took part in the competition to see who could hit the most home runs.

Delta Gamma Sorority sold brand-name jeans at discount prices on Friday to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.  The chapter raised more the $600.
