| Order of Omega Presents Greek Week 2007 |

Order of Omega, the Greek leadership society at the
University of Florida campus, will be hosting Greek
Week from February 28-March 4, 2007.
All four councils of the Florida Greek community
have been divided into eight teams to encourage
unity and friendly competition. Teams will be
participating in a variety of competitions
throughout the week to earn points for their teams.
Additional points will be awarded for t-shirt
sales, the banner competition, and attendance at
each event.

| Greek Week Kickoff: Wednesday, February 28 |

The week will kick off with games in Turlington
Plaza all afternoon. Teams can earn points by
wearing their team's shirt and checking in at the
Greek Week Table.

| Greek Week-Case Study Competition: Thursday, March 1 |
 |
|
The Greek Week Case Study Competition will put your
University of Florida education to the test. Prior
to the event teams will be given a prompt that they
will use to develop their case. Teams will be
awarded points based on their presentations. Points
will also be awarded to those in attendance at the
event.
The case study competition will begin at 6:00 PM in
the Carleton Auditorium.

| Greek Week-Greek Feud Trivia: Friday, March 2 |

|
It's time to test your knowledge of the Greek
Community. The Greek Feud Trivia Competition will
place Greeks head to head with some of the most
challenging Greek trivia questions known to man.
If you think you have what it takes be sure to sign
up to be a contestant for the competition. The
event will take place on Friday, March 2 at 7:00 PM
at the Levin College of Law in rooms 285 B & C.

| Greek Week-All Greek Service Day: Saturday, March 3 |

|
The All Greek Service Day is a once a year
opportunity to provide service to the Gainesville
and Alachua County community. It is a chance for
the Florida Greek community to show its commitment
and dedication to Gainesville and its residents. On
Saturday morning the Gainesville area will be
flooded with Florida Greek students working for the
common goal of providing service to others.
The morning will begin with a kickoff on Flavet
Field. This is where participants will receive all
of their project sight information and of course no
event would be complete without food. Several
different venues will be sponsoring breakfast for
all of the students involved in the All Greek
Service Day.

event will come soon.

| Greek Week-Florida Greek Games: Sunday, March 4 |

|
The conclusion of Greek Week will culminate with the
Florida Greek Games. Join the Order of Omega for an
afternoon of fun and an award ceremony immediately
following the Florida v. Kentucky basketball game.
The event will begin at 3:00 PM at Flavet Field.

| Relay for Life at UF |
 |
|
Relay for life is an event to honor those who we
have lost; to acknowledge, respect, and inspire hope
in those who are currently battling cancer; and to
celebrate the lives of our survivors. It is taking
place March 23-24, 2007 in the O’Connell Center. If
you wish to participate in, or donate to, this years
relay, or if you have any questions regarding Relay,

| Florida Invitational Step Show on February 17 |

The 18th Annual Florida Invitational Step Show,
sponsored by the Black Student Union, is on
Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Stephen
C. O’Connell Center. The Florida Invitational Step
Show is one of the largest step shows in the
Southeast and features all nine historically black
Greek-lettered organizations. Tickets are $12 for UF
students, $16 for general public and $20 the day of
the show. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster
locations. First come, first serve seating.

| Lambda Theta Alpha Unity Jam Scholarship |

Every year Lambda Theta Alpha co-hosts the Unity Jam
Scholarship Party with an ever-increasing number of
diverse student organizations, both from the
University of Florida and abroad. As a result of
these collaborative efforts, the organizations are
able to make a greater impact on their local
community as well as the nation.
Eleven diverse groups came together for the Ninth
Annual Unity Jam on October 14, 2006. The proceeds
benefit students from around the country in the form
of two, $200.00 scholarship awards that will be
chosen based on their essay response.
