| Greek Trivia, Did you know... |
 |
|
Every United States President since the 1830's has
been Greek except for two.
Two-thirds of the members of Congress and 80% of the
Supreme Court are members of fraternities of
sororities.
Of the nation's 50 largest corporations, 43 are
headed
by members of fraternities or sororities.
A U.S. Government study shows that over 70% of all
those who join a Greek organization graduate, while
under 50% of all non-fraternity/sorority students
graduate.
Over 85% of the student leaders on some 730 campuses
are involved in the Greek community.
Greek undergraduates raise about $7 million a
year for
local and national charities.

 |
|
Please remember that officer changes must be updated
on the involvement website. If a President,
Treasurer and/or faculty advisor has changed, a
change of officer form must be turned in to the
Center for Student Involvement by the organization
President. Once the form is turned in, the President
will be able to update officers online.
Please remember to update chapter rosters, all new
members from Fall '06 should be changed to active
members. All Fall '06 graduates should also be
changed to alumni status.
|
| Event/Program Permitting Process |
 |
|
All student organization events or programs that
take place on University grounds must receive a
permit through the Office of Student Activities.
Submitting a Program Planning From should be the
first step you take in planning a program or event
on campus.
If your permit requires a signature from the Office
of Sorority Affairs, please call ahead to schedule
an appointment. These appointments will not be
given in the same day and will take approximately 15
minutes, please plan accordingly. To schedule an
appointment call (352) 846-3171.
