Over the past few weeks the MGC, IFC, and
Panhellenic Council have elected their new
presidents for the upcoming year. Congratulations
to all of the new executive board members and good
luck with your new positions.
Shae Ferguson is the newly elected President of the
Panhellenic Council. She is currently a Junior
majoring in Finance, she is also working on her
combined masters degree in Decision and Information
Sciences. She has served the Florida Greek
community through her own chapter, Phi Mu, as the
Panhellenic Delegate and the Risk Management chair.
Shae has also served as the PC Award Director and is
currently the PC Alumnae and Administrative Affairs
Director, just to name a few.
Kelsey San Antonio, the newly elected MGC President,
is a third year majoring in Psychology and Family,
Youth, and Community Sciences. She has served her
own chapter Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. and the
Florida Greek community in many facets, including
MGC Public Relations Director, MGC Chapter
Delegate, and as a member of the Greek Judicial Board.
Ben Caswell, the newly elected IFC President is a
fourth year majoring in Electrical engineering. He
has served his own chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon as
the VP of Communications, and has also made several
contributions to the Interfraternity Council. He
has served as a Co-Director of Special Projects,
Greek Awards Banquet committee member, and he is
currently finishing his term as the VP of Operations.

| MGC 7th Anniversary Celebration |

The Multicultural Greek Council will be celebrating
its 7th Anniversary on Tuesday, November 14, 2006.
The Multicultural Greek Council was established to
unite and serve the
ethnic Greek letter organizations at the University
of Florida. The council was founded on November
15, 1999 at the University of Florida by four Greek
Organizations-Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity,
Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Sigma Lambda Beta
International Fraternity, and Sigma Lambda Gamma
National Sorority. The MGC currently has five
fraternities and six sororities. Although
ethnically based, the MGC embraces men and women of
all different backgrounds and takes pride in their
diverse membership.

Don't forget the 59th Annual Greek Awards Banquet is
this Wednesday, November 15, 2006. The doors will
open at 6:30 PM and dinner will be served at 7:00 PM.
